A Sky Full of Colour: Join Mbilu Tales in London for a Magical Family Event

London, get ready! Something bright, bold, and full of joy is coming to the sky.

On Monday 25 May, Mbilu Tales invites you and your little ones to a lively, hands-on event at Parkside Yards (UB1 1GH), from 1–3pm.  Inspired by the heartwarming story Khanyi and the Kite.

This is not a quiet sit-and-listen kind of afternoon. It’s movement, laughter, creativity, and a little bit of magic in the air.

What’s Happening on the Day

Designed for children aged 4–8, this experience brings the story to life in a fun, interactive way:

• Live Storytime
    Step into Khanyi’s world with a vibrant reading of Khanyi and the Kite.
• A Special Song Performance
    Enjoy a live song from the story, performed by the author.
• Book Signing
    Meet the author and get your copy of the book signed.
• Kite Decorating
    Children will design and decorate their very own kites.
• Kite Flying
    Then comes the best part, we head outside and send those kites soaring into the sky, just like Khanyi.
