The Countdown has begun! Just 10 days to Go

The excitement is building — only 10 days left until the Khanyi and the Kite South African launch! My heart is racing as I think about sharing this story, born from love, heritage, and imagination, with families back home.

This journey has been filled with long nights, joyful breakthroughs, and deep gratitude for everyone who has supported Mbilu Tales along the way. Seeing Khanyi’s story come to life and knowing it will soon find its way into children’s hands across South Africa feels truly magical.

And there’s more good news — in just a couple of days, I’ll be doing my first ever school reading of Khanyi and the Kite in Pretoria, South Africa! 🎈

I can’t wait to meet the little readers, see their faces light up, and hear their laughter as Khanyi and Momo take flight on this beautiful adventure.
